THE ROLE:

At Sparkline, we are in the people business. Our Technical Account Manager will be passionate about supporting our existing local clients as well as the growth of our client base.

You will provide accurate technical service before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction, and support the Country Manager in NZ as well as the technical and analyst teams around the region.

You will work to meet the agreed targets while adopting the fail fast and learn faster attitude of all sparks along the way, we move fast and love the thrill of the pace!

This role will suit someone who is excited by the opportunity to work within a diverse team in a collaborative manner who is able to oversee and address our customers’ technical needs.

As a Technical account manager, you should be a tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to both a technical and a non-technical audience. You should also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals.

Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product and business knowledge to support sales process and strengthen customer relationships. You would also have had experience working with Technical Delivery teams previously such as Analysts, Integrators and/or engineers within the Data/Digital space.

You’ll bring:

  • 2+ years experience in account management or customer service is essential and preferably across a Digital domain (I think we could get away with 2-3 yrs here)
  • Ideal experience would be 3+ years experience in a consulting firm, publisher or media agency
  • Previous experience in sales-related/commercially focused role is essential to success in this role
  • Hands on experience in both Google Analytics, GTM is essential for this role, likewise knowledge of the GMP suite of tools  
  • Prior experience in either Data Analytics or Digital from a Technical standpoint is a must.
    • Knowledge of the main channels of online acquisition: search engines (SEO, SEM, bid-management tools), display, email marketing, e-commerce, social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc..) AdExchange, mobile Internet, smartphones applications or tablets, etc..
  • Excellent verbal, written and visualization skills.  Able to create, concise, professional documents and comfortable presenting analysis and insights to stakeholders and clients at all levels.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to the situation; flexible and nimble in terms of work planning and able to think on your feet to resolve issues.
  • A capable brand ambassador for Sparkline. An energetic self-starter, excited about the opportunity to make this role their own.
